I’ve always liked the idea of having a hobby a bit different to the norm – such as an extreme sport. I’ve been gliding once before and it was fun, but there are so many activities out there which I want to try, and there are new ones being thought up all the time. I’ve put together a list of as many as I can think of here – I hope you enjoy reading it!
We all like to daydream about travel and holidays, so I’ve put together a short list of websites which certainly give me itchy feet!
Well, we can dream!
This site has a really useful list of 40 websites which have the potential to save you lots of money on your travels, and this website tells you how to save money on a working holiday in Australia.
Fun adventure holiday company with some great ideas including treks, cruises, safaris and much more. Perfect for people who are looking for exciting and interesting holidays packed with once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
I love Design*Sponge for the craft and design, but the travel guides on there are awesome too! They list loads of design-orientated shops and events that you wouldn’t normally find, so you can truly discover the city. The guides include lots of big cities like London, Las Vegas and Milan 🙂
Amazing website showing the most unusual and fascinating places to stay in the world, and rates them on a scale of ‘different’ to ‘wow’ . . . this is guaranteed to give you itchy feet! From castles to caves, and from underwater hotels to treehouses – you could even stay in a giant Beagle dog!
I LOVE this website and my favourites are staying in a hobbit house, and staying in the above cave hotel.
This is the first post in a series of posts that I plan to write, which I will pack with as many links as I can find about travel, cool places to go, and gap year information and tours. I hope you find them useful 🙂
